Every now and then the Recording Clerk organises a gathering of clerks of national committees, for the purposes of communication between committees, and the sharing of experience, insights and best practice. Prior to this one, the last such gathering was in September 2023.

The Book of Discipline Revision Committee met to discuss the final parts of the new book and to look at how the draft will be shared with Friends from November, and how we will process responses from Meetings

Quaker Life Central Committee (QLCC) looked in detail at work to support governance of local and area meetings, including mitigation of governance risks. They also received the evaluations of programmes for youth, children and families at Yearly Meeting in May, and received updates on new ways into membership and on the Programmes & Prioritisation Committee.
