Yearly Meeting roles
Every year we appoint Friends to serve in roles that support our Yearly Meeting sessions. Some of these are short-term roles (like being on the epistle drafting committee) and some last a bit longer (like being a member of the Agenda Planning Committee).
Find out more about available roles. You can express an interest in any Quaker role by completing the expression of interest form (offsite link).
Volunteering at Yearly Meeting
We need Friends to volunteer to support Yearly Meeting.
Helping with doorkeeping or with the microphones can be a great way to feel part of Yearly Meeting and no previous experience is required (complete newcomers to Yearly Meeting are welcome to offer service). Clear instructions will be given to all volunteers.
We also need Friends to help with pastoral support during multi-day Yearly Meeting events. Some experience of pastoral care within your Quaker community is desirable. Guidance will be provided. Find out more.
We also need Friends to volunteer to work with children and young people attending Yearly Meeting and other events. Find events and offer your help by visiting the children and young people's pages.
