Nine young people from across the UK gathered at Missenden Abbey, Buckinghamshire, to complete training delivered by Quakers in Britain and Woodbrooke.

Youth Development Worker working with refugee and asylum seeking young people in Bristol to make Quaker values more active in the world

The youth development worker in the west of England, Zephyr Blofeld was asked by Quakers in the region to help tend their concern for welcoming migrants to young people. Since July 2024, Zephyr has collaborated with Our Second Home to offer young refugees and asylum seekers trips and activities in school holidays.

Young Quakers in Yorkshire meet for mountain biking and reflection

Volunteers and the Youth Development Worker in Yorkshire run regular "Ready for a Shreddy?" mountain bike days across the patch. These high adrenaline adventure days, build community, encourage adventure, stretch young people (and leaders) and promote sustainable transportation.

Planning in progress for new Quaker Camp starting in Yorkshire next year

Plans are now shaping up for the Yorkshire Quaker Camp, a new all-age affordable and fun residential Quaker event for the whole of Yorkshire which will take place in August 2025.

Planning for children and young people at Yearly Meeting

Behind the scenes, teams of young people, adult volunteers and staff are working together to create programmes for joyful, interactive programmes for children and young people at Yearly Meeting, where there is something to welcome all ages. Bookings are still open for Children's Programme and Young People @ Yearly Meeting. We hope these will offer nurturing, expansive and joyful explorations on our themes of love and truth, linking in with the wider Yearly Meeting theme of truth and integrity.
