Friends School Tokyo has resumed an annual trip to bring students to places of Quaker interest in the UK. They visited Friends House, Swarthmore Hall and climbed Pendle Hill, as well as seeing some other UK sites.

The school call their trip to Swarthmoor Hall 'Women's day' because they were particularly interested in the key role that Margaret Fell played in nurturing early Quakers, their travels in the ministry and her visits to all of the new meetings across the country and beyond

The group really enjoyed their visit and were happy to find the cradle in one of the rooms as well as other historic details.

The local development worker is always pleased to welcome this annual tour group and was very pleased to be at Swarthmoor Hall this time to give them a women focussed Quaker history talk.
