Quakers are political due to our faith commitments. With the general election on 4th July, Quakers up and down the country are engaged in preparations – from chairing general elections hustings to lobbying prospective MPs and much more besides.

Planning for children and young people at Yearly Meeting

Behind the scenes, teams of young people, adult volunteers and staff are working together to create programmes for joyful, interactive programmes for children and young people at Yearly Meeting, where there is something to welcome all ages. Bookings are still open for Children's Programme and Young People @ Yearly Meeting. We hope these will offer nurturing, expansive and joyful explorations on our themes of love and truth, linking in with the wider Yearly Meeting theme of truth and integrity.

Sun shines for west youth residential at Spiceland

in early May, a group of young Quakers from Bristol and Bath, set out for Spiceland Meeting house in Devon for their first camp out under the stars of 2024. It was organised by Zephyr Blofeld, west youth development worker in grateful collaboration with Spiceland Quakers in mid Devon.
