Quaker Life Central Committee has a Representative Council which is made up of representatives from every area meeting. The Council provides a two-way channel of communication with Friends in their meetings, the main purposes being educational, inspirational and consultative.

About Quaker Life Representatives

Quaker Life Representatives come together both in-person and online for meetings and events. Through workshops and group discussions, Representatives explore important topics that help support Quaker communities.

Quaker Life Representative Council (QLRC) is guided by a Planning Group. This group consists of centrally nominated Quakers including Co-convenors, Quaker Life Representatives, members of the Quaker Life Central Committee, and a staff member from Quaker Life.

Upcoming Sessions for Quaker Life Representatives

After two successful 'Reconnect & Refresh' online sessions in June, we're now offering in-person days for Representatives. The QLRC Planning Group is running a session at each of the Radical Hearts Open Minds events taking place across Britain from September to November 2025.

Every Quaker Life Representative is guaranteed a place at whichever event is most convenient for them. To book your place, click the registration panel on the right side of this page.
