Simmons Grants are available to overseas projects that enable rural young people to become self-sufficient or for other similar educational purposes.

Information

A small number of grants in the region of £1,000 to £1,500 are made annually to projects that work to enable rural young people overseas to live self-sufficiently.

Requests for grants should come from the organisation managing the project, with evidence of active Quaker support. The organisation need not be Quaker-run, but projects supported should operate within appropriate principles including financial and environmental sustainability.

    Applications for 2025 will open at the start of May 2025 and close at the end of July 2025.
