The Start of the Quaker Way
14 March - 3 April 2025, Online
This course explores the beginnings of the Quaker movement, starting from the pivotal summer of 1652. Each week will take you step by step through some of the key figures and texts to better understand the foundation of Quakerism.
We visit, virtually, the key sites of the Quaker consolidation in the north west of England and explore the importance of the north to Quaker success.
The course is based around a series of films and discussion topics with the option of live discussion with the tutor each week. What you do when within the three weeks is up to you.
Live sessions take place every Thursday at 19:00-20:30 (UK time)
