Make Them Pay weekend of action
20 - 21 September 2025, Various locations in London
Ahead of COP30 in Brazil, people will join together for a demonstration to express their support for making polluters pay for climate breakdown.
Climate justice means tackling the root causes of climate breakdown, including the unequal distribution of wealth as polluters profit from burning through the world's resources.
On Saturday September 20 in London, a diverse coalition of groups will gather in London to show their support for taxing the super-rich, reshaping our economy to support people and planet, and making polluters pay for the impacts of climate breakdown.
If you'd like to connect with Quakers and other people of faith at the demonstration, join our interfaith vigil co-hosted with Faith for the Climate. The vigil will take place from 11:30am at Cavendish Square Gardens, and afterwards we will join the march together. To sign up for more information and let us know you're coming, please send an RSVP at this link: Interfaith Vigil - Action Network.More information
