Getting the most from Yearly Meeting 2025
Yearly Meeting will take place at Friends House and online, from Friday 23 to Monday 26 May. However, the full Yearly Meeting programme opens earlier, with preparation and “fringe" sessions starting online from 27 April.
At Yearly Meeting, we will be considering: How do we as Quakers address violence and conflict in our local communities and across Britain? How do we welcome and accept and nurture the radical peacemaker in ourselves and others?
To help Friends prepare for these questions, Agenda Committee have organised online preparation sessions from Sunday 27 April to Saturday 3 May, on the themes of:
There will also be a session on the progress towards holding continuing Yearly Meeting sessions, as agreed by Yearly Meeting in 2024.
The Yearly Meeting “fringe" also starts online from Sunday 27 April, with a wide range of events and activities on offer from Quaker groups. Whether it's peace activism locally & internationally, our relationships with other churches & faith groups, ways to ensure our meetings are welcoming & inclusive, or so much more, there's things to interest everyone.
To access full details of the preparation & fringe sessions through the Yearly Meeting Planner, please book by Sunday 6 April. Bookings for Yearly Meeting are open until 27 April.
