Outdoor witness at Yearly Meeting 2025
If you are attending Yearly Meeting at Friends House, online or with your local community you are invited to join this year's Outdoor Witness.
What is your outward message of peace, love and justice for the world? If your heart could speak, (or shout!) from the rooftops, what would it say? And what is your inward message to yourself? Perhaps it is an image, a mantra, or a few words to help you ground in peace. While we pray and act for peace in the wider world, what message might help you remember that peace is the way, as well as, hopefully, the destination?
At this year's Outdoor Witness at Yearly Meeting those participating at Friends House, online and in their local area are invited to write on one side of A4 card our outward message to the world, and on the other side, our inward message to ourselves. If you want to hold a parallel peace vigil in your local area, even if it is a vigil of one, please do and let us know and send us your photos. The Outdoor Witness will happen over Yearly Meeting on Monday 26 May, 11.30am–12.30pm.
