The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and the Quaker United Nations Committee - New York have announced that Sarah Clarke will be the new Director of Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) New York, from 1 November.

For the first time in maybe 100 years, Quakers in Britain have a new base for national Quaker work outside London. The new base is in Leeds.

Amid pandemic and climate crisis, more than 200 peacebuilding organisations have issued a joint statement calling on governments to work for peace. Quakers in Britain have signed alongside Quaker United Nations Office and American Friends Service Committee. The statement asserts that peace is not an add-on: peace is the way.
