Strong, Loving Communities

How can we strengthen trust and connection within Quaker communities? How might we build the capacity and skills needed to navigate difficulty and hold difference in a loving way? This day, hosted by Quaker Life and Restoring Relations, will include discussion, exploration and workshops to help Friends understand and experience a range of ways to help strengthen our Quaker communities.
All communities experience difference, difficulty and tension, and Quaker communities are no exception. This can range from the messy and prickly the overwhelming and distressing, and everywhere in between, and can be deeply costly in the lives of Quaker communities. Hosted by Quaker Life and Restoring Relations, this day event will be an opportunity to explore and develop the skills, practices capacity and confidence we need to hold difference lovingly and navigate difficulty with care, trust and openness.
As well as discussion, reflection and practical workshops, there will be opportunities to share our own experience and to learn about a range of practices. We will be joined by Friends from a range of Quaker groups and organisations who will share their own rich insights and experience.
The day is open to all, especially those sharing responsibility for the nourishment and nurture of their Quaker community.
