Quaker Concern: From Awareness to Action
28 April 2026, Online
People of conscience often feel drawn to take action in the world. Some actions are personal, while others reflect a wider Quaker concern. In this session, we will explore how to recognise the difference and how different pathways can emerge from being led by concern.
We will consider ways people respond to concern, through joining, starting, or holding events or campaigns, changing how we live, or encouraging others, and how some concern develops into shared Quaker action. Using examples from Quaker material and our own experiences, we will explore the pathways through which Quakers and their communities act together.
