Conservative Friends seek to preserve what they regard as the unique and distinctive understanding of Christianity practiced by early Friends. Most Conservative Friends today are part of three yearly meetings in North America (in Iowa, North Carolina, and Ohio).
Lloyd Lee Wilson, is a recorded minister in North Carolina Yearly Meeting (Conservative) who has written widely on traditional Quaker faith and practice. Mark Wutka, a member of Friendship Friends Meeting in NCYM(C), has traveled widely in the gospel ministry with Lloyd Lee.
